Description

My daughter Michelle has been back in the hopsital since Wednesday. This time with different pain...they have stuck her, probed her, did ultra-sounds of all her organs to find out what is causing her very bad pain in the right side of her stomach...I watched in horror as they puched on her belly and did a vaginal to hear her scream as I've never heard her scream before, I felt so useless. They thought at first it was a uterus infection but white cell counts are fine. Then they thought it was the gall bladder but seem to have ruled that out now too. Then they noticed the emzines in her liver are extremely high, so they checked her for hepatitis, but nope, she doesn't have that either. They then changed her medication for pain and noticed that the emzines in the liver went back to normal but the pain is still there. So I thought I'd do an image to cheer her up, print it out, frame it and take it to her... Definitely will keep her in our thoughts and prayers, send her our hugs as well...beautiful image for her!:-) I know first hand how terrible it is to sit there watching them "man-handle" your child to find the root of a problem because there is nothing else you could do to fix it yourself...guess as a mom we feel we should have been able to...I wish the best for your daughter and her unborn child.

I was thinking Gall bladder the whole time until you mentioned it... Then you mentioned 29 weeks PG - Hopefully it's just pain from the baby pushing on Momma... I'm glad us guys don't have to go through that - the birth thing all girls think guys couldn't handle... I'd rather handle that than the movement of the child inside me - I get sharp pains from bad food, imagine a kick in the ribs when you have food poisoning - I know, you've been there, done that - LOL... I'm praying that it's just something due to PG and that everything will be fine. ...if you really want to put a smile on your Daughter's face, take a picture of her other half and make him look 9 months PG, wearing short swim trunks - Ice cream cone in one hand (dripping) and a large pickle in the other hand...LOL... c'mon, tell me your Daughter wouldn't want to frame it - lol

Kidneys okay? hmmm .. but that would be more in her back then in her stomach area, I think. It's awful when they can't make a diagnosis and begin the proper treatment. I will keep her and her baby in my prayers. A beautiful and serene warm summer place .. I hope it cheers her up. It certainly did me!
