Description

Pursuiting realism I guess. I had problems with tear and sclera part of the eye...so they suck, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with this. V4 Vanessa by Maelwenn. Eyetextures by ARTCollaborations. Cinema 4D and Vray. No postwork on this one.

Skin texture is absolutely fckng awesome. The eyes let it down for me though - they look a bit glassy which is a real shame because the face is so good it could be a photo.

There should be reflection in the eyes, like they are moist. The other textures look pretty good.

Great one Kimmo, try select refraction on material tab and gi tab too and play a Little with specular layer 1 or 2.

Spectacular work on the skin texture looks very realistic if only the eyes were just a little bit sharper she would be perfect!!

Hmmm... it's a beautiful render, kimmo, I really like it. You have been and remain one of my favourites. I also love Vanessa's skin texture. Hopefully, by anticipating it now, I can deflect the usual nonsensical criticism in later comments for expressing an unpopular opinion. I think you have too much bump. It's not noticeable everywhere, but there are specific areas of her skin that grab my attention because of the unrealistic bump mapping, and they drag my eye away from the best parts of this lovely portrait. Excellent portrait Kimmo.. scaringly close to a photo.. and I'm with Callad.. her lips are very kissable!!. and the eyebrows and eyelashes have come out perfectly!
