Description

The roaring sound is getting louder now, so we'll step off the path again to our right and peer over the edge of this cliff. There it is.... The source of the roaring! Water cascading over the rocks, a small but noisy waterfall. What a beautiful sight this is: the falls are taking sepatate paths down the rock face and pooling below. And then the pool breaks up into two creeks that then rejoin further down. It's not the biggest waterfall nor the tallest but it is still very beautiful. The sun lights up the area with golden hues and intensifies the greens of the trees in this wonderful valley. This is truly awe-inspiring Hmmmm looking over the edge here, we see that it is a long ways down, about 75 feet to the creek. I don't think we want to be too near the edge after all. We'll stay here for a bit, drinking the sights and sounds of this spot on the trail and then move closer to the falls. I want to thank all of you who've stayed on this hike and made your comments about the spots we visited as well as those who have their favorite spots. Have a great weekend Mike

Love waterfalls and You captured this one beautifully! Love how where it forks, the left side is turbulent but the right is almost still.

It's nice to see the wilderness... saw a lot of this last year living up in the mountains... these pictures remind me of the area I was in... Now instead of looking at nature everyday, I look at the concrete jungle - it's everywhere, can't get away from it - until I com to your gallery - lol

That's a wonderful view on this waterfall! Are there same Water Nymphs? That is usually the place, they are living. ;) Greetings Lemy
