Description

Another from yesterday morning's sunrise, sorry I couldn't make it any larger, I wanted to save it with minimal compression so the colours and light would shine through, compressing the file took the edge off so it's a little smaller than I'd like but anyway, hopefully big enough to view! This was taken clambering around on the rocks down near to the aquarium and seafood restaurant in town yesterday morning about 4:30am. It was a very peaceful time of day, something I seem to be able to appreciate even more when I witness night become day, rather than dragging my sleep-deprived hide from a well-warmed bed and out into the elements in search of photos... for those who are wishing they had the disclipline to get up early and get out for shots, well, I guess that would include me... my slant on the whole sunrise business is to LACK the disclipline to sleep in the first place ;) One of the buildings catching the light about halfway along the cliff is the Art History department where I have my classes and lectures.. speaking of which to those who care I passed my exams fine... not disastrous, not spectacular, but still on track so no complaints here =) I might also mention that this was taken at high tide - when it's out you can walk along a large portion of the coast where you can just make out rocks sticking through the water. Thanks for the recent comments/favourites, have a great day whatever it is you might be up to! Adam

Beautiful! It is marvellous for me to see this part of our coast through your eyes without the long trip and the effort involved in getting up there and getting up when I get there! So glad you passed Ok! (They do say getting a First means that person was (usually) an unbearable swot, a 2.1 is perfect...shows you're very bright but still had time for a social life!)
