Description

Since tomorrow is the summer solstice, I wanted to catch the full moon tonight. Taken 2.5 hrs. ago at 10:00 p.m. on June 18, 2008 and my first ever moon photograph. 20% crop, f/11, 400 mm, 1/8 second. Slight levels, contrast, and USM. Thanks very much for looking.

I read yesterday that a "full moon" term is not true as the moon never is full.also that people still argue about the moon being larger on the horizon but it is a optical illusion of the human psyche outstanding moon capture. I want to use my 500m Sigma sometime for a moon shot but my best tripod is just not enough to avoid minor wobble for something that precise
