I love the Burrowing Owl, they have such beautiful markings and such amazing eyes. He seemed to be saying that he did not appreciate my interrupting his meal! Thank you very much for your kind views and comments.

Yes, I think he was definitely telling you that you were not welcome at his dinner table. The eyes are letting you know how unwelcome you are. You captured the eyes and the stance perfectly.
