Hey people, Thanks very much for all your recent kind comments and favourites, they are much appreciated =) Today's pic (and probably the next few days' ones too) is again from yesterday's sunrise down at East Sands beach in St Andrews. I was incredibly lucky with the weather as it only cleared up enough for about half an hour of decent conditions, the very half hour at which I was there for sunrise. As I strolled onto the beach I was captivated by the sun but after the first few initial shots I turned to go further back on the beach and immediately was struck by this rainbow. I wondered how long it had been there sneakily behind me and readjusted to shoot in the opposite direction, neglecting the sunrise for a few moments.... as I did so I wasn't really paying any attention to the tide behind me which was creeping up on me... I got just soaked enough to not really care any more about getting wet and ended up taking a couple of hundred shots until the weather set in.... more of the sunrise over the coming days! In this shot the buildings you can see I think are a part of the 'Gatty' marine biology section of the university, and the rainbow is forming over the East Sands indoor swimming pool. Gosh Adam - this is spectacular! The light is just superb and you did an amazing job with the compo and POV. Great work and I am looking forward to the rest of them!!! :)
