Description
When does a weed become a wild flower? From my garden, I have plenty! I hope ye like ma little weed. I am safely "locked up" In my third floor penthouse suite, away from all witches, warlocks and goblins! So black here after nightfall that I do not open the door to anyone when I am alone. Have a wonderful "All Hallows Eve". I thank you all for looking and for treasured comments. "My Down By The Riverside" made 27th in this weeks art Charts thanks to you all. Doesn't look like a weed to me Diane. Your wonderful Macro has turned this Dandilion into something far more magnificent. As a child we used to collect all the leaves for our pet rabbits, they loved munching on them. I too am locked away warm in my bed, no witches here!

I've always thought dandelions were very pretty flowers. I like them better than some other flowers. :)

He stands there in the middle of the lawn A splash of color in a sea of green An introduction to the breaking dawn The brightest sight from all round to be seen. A yellow circle like the very sun A friendly warmth emitting from his glow A stalwart flower yet a lonely one In one-off isolation does he grow. One of many he would rather be With fellow yellow buddies all around Though all the rest are now but history Hacked with incompassion to the ground. He'll follow them ere long with all due speed. A wonderful macro and I have heaps of these at the moment, as fast as I pull them out more seem to come. Must admit though they do make a splash of colour.
