Description
A symbolic rather than a literal piece, created for my very dear friend (Kat aka Wishmaker-kc) who celebrated her birthday on June 10.
The idea is derived from a number of passions Kat and I share, one of which is, of course, trees and by extension "Earth". Trees are a symbol of life, of regeneration and sacred knowledge. The Celts believed that the first human being was descedant from trees. Druids developed the practice of tree magik, especially in relation to healing. They have been the home of wood nymphs/elementals and the keepers of sacred circles.
