Description

Hi all, *SIGH* I've been told only old ducks sigh... So I guess I'm a really old duck *SIGH* cause I cant stop sighing... LOL Today I went back to the beach... yeah where all those recent beach shot were taken... This time instead of just hanging around in one spot I walked to the base of Mount Maunganui... It took me about 2 1/2 hours to walk there. Talk about a perfect day... well maybe not for photography really but yeah amazing blue sky and a very slight breeze. Not the ideal weather for doing long exposures *DOH* Anyway... on the walk I came across a shark that had apparently just died, it would have been over 2 metres in length... MMMMM soo meaty *DROOLS* Then saw a large pod of dolphins... there must have been about 40 of them.... Bla bla bla... I wont ramble much more because I'm felling "sensitive".... Man that sun burns :| I'm now red and white *SIGH* I look soooo stupid :(( This shot was taken at the base of the mount... just up and to the right is where I took the lamb pics ;) Hope everyone is keeping well. Do enjoy ;)
Thanks for the kind words on my previous pic: My previous picture</div></body></html>

Nice shot! and this place is beautiful! I'd prefer the view without the buildings, but I wouldn't refuse an appartment there, just in front of this superb beach! lol Bravo Kai!!!!

Grin - you did a superb shot anyway - you old duck. So you walk by a shark and a gazillion dolphins without posting a shot? You must be pampered. Brilliant colors and well balanced composition!

Sighing -- breathing -- same thing. This is a really cool image. I am made to think of a 3D render where you just threw a bunch of props together and rendered it. I am amazed that it is a real place. Well seen and taken!

Agree with TwoPynts: somehow it indeed looks a bit 3D to me, even a bit surreal. Colours of the water and the rocks are awesome. Thanks for sharing!
