Akhenaten introduced a new version of the jubilee festival,honoring the Aten to worship his god(the sun disk) the symbol of life.Akhenaten built shrines at Thebes,next door to the great Amen Temple.Nefertiti played a prominent role in the celebration of the cult.In a temple built for her use reveals that her name and image appeared twice as often as those of the king. Inscriptions found at Karnak and elsewhere honor her with a list of names:Great of Favor,Mistress of Sweetness,Beloved One,Mistress of Upper and Lower Egypt,Lady of the Two Lands.
