Description

Here is the Gwenn close-up render the top one is original Poser render the lower one is postworked in PS7 Used CC hair, worked a bit on her eye lashes and over painted. Thanks for your comments. By the way: I just wanted to tell that I upgraded my CPU from Athlon 4000+ to Athlon 4400+ dual core X2 well, all applications are amazing fast and flying around but Poser I didn't see any difference as with 4000+ I think no matter how fast you do you PC Poser rendering will not improve, well, I'm happy the speed for now and I'm not going to invest some more anymore.

Then I don't feel so bad about not going dual core. I would love to upgrade my memory to 2 gigs, I'm sure that would improve render time. But, that probably won't be for another year or so now. Excellent portrait!

Awww... this is so sweet. And the skin of Gwen is so real that I'm glad you shared the pure render here, too. In fact there's no need to do any postwork with this skin except of changing the image to your personal taste.

Fantastic image and I must say, they are both wonderful but I prefer the first version, you can see a lot more from her skin!!! Excellent work!!!

Gorgeous portrait, the eyes are closed just perfectly and both versions are beautiful. The realism of the facial features and skin tone in the first one is just awesome but I like the softness of the 2nd. sigh Just can't decide, love 'em both.

You start off with a wonderful render. That must be why your postwork makes it even better. Great stuff and thanks for sharing some of your technique! it helps us noobs.

Both versions are excellent, yet I prefer the first one - looks more natural and realistic. Well done!

Both are quite beautiful. I like the hair, and that shade of lipstick is fetching as well!

I still prefer the original render despite the shadow line on the nose. The skin has better texture and definition. Good work!

I like both, different textures but both great! Maybe the speed doesn't work with poser, I think DAZ is quite quiky!

Very realistic. Both images are excellent but I prefer the first one. In terms of performance I think that memory is the key to improve Poser render times and reduce program abends.

Beautiful portraits and I love your postwork! Regarding Poser's render speed... Yeah, thsy should work on that and send all Poser owners a fix for the sluggish renders... My new PC eats up everything but Poser!!! Excellent work!

Excellent job with the post work! I have 1gig of ram, and don't have any problems rendering, think the longest I have had is maybe 7 minutes or so when I had the scene loaded down with stuff.
