Description

I don't really believe in psychics... although I'll be the first to admit that they are a special breed. The one and only time I visited a psychic, it left me feeling confused and rather overwhelmed. I wonder sometimes if perhaps people try too hard to mold themselves into a vision someone else has of them. Maybe thinking they weren't looking deep enough and missed a stranger's observation. I really don't know. Have any of you guys had a session with a psychic? And, if so, did it leave you a believer or a doubting Thomas?

Thanks so much for popping in to have a peek at my latest kick at UF. And, always and forever.... thank you all for your feedback on my previous endeavors! Hugs!! Helen :)

Now THIS is exquisite! Perfect colors (my favorite purple hues always get my attention!)I've never had a session and not sure I want to. Have you watched "Psychic Detectives" on the Discovery Channel? They make me want to believe and I rather enjoy thinking someone has that ability, but you know I'm all weird and stuff anyway! ;)

Like a fine sculpture ready to be displayed as soon as they part those curtains! Beautiful work!

Great work once again, locomouse. Really love the jewellery-like aspect of the psychic, set against the silk moire curtains.

Never been to a psychic, just other kinds of head doctors and they left me doubting so a pyschic probably would too. The image reminds me of a magic show with the most magnificent crystal ball emanating some kind of weird vibrations. Fantastic and luxurious work!

How do you do that magic that you do so well? :)Unfortunately there are more than enough phony psychics that it creates a natural atmosphere of doubt. But I still like to keep an open mind, not there's anything worth reading in there. But feel free to give it a try. Can you tell what I'm thinking now?

Abracadabra.. Love the richly colored drapes, superb lighting and the resulting mood of mystery..and the sculpture, including the crystal ball is exquisite. Outstanding fractal art, Helen.

Great composition. This is very elegant and as Linda said does leave a mood of mystery. I have to wonder what is just behind the curtain. I am definitely a doubting Thomas. I don't believe in that sort of thing.

Fantastic fractal art Helen, and yes there are some people who can call themselves psychic, but mostly they're not the ones asking money for it :)

Excellent image. Your creativity continually amazes me. I once had a dog that went missing, so I caled Ms. Cleo...she told me he was dead. A week later he came home...

I don't believe in Psychics, but I do believe that people have moments of pre-cognition. I don't think they profit from them, though. Have you ever wondered why Psychics don't win the lottery? Well, that's just me, and one of my opinions. Another one of my opinions is that this is wonderful and perfect with the title. It reminds me of a Gypsy's tent with rich heavy fabric, gold filigree and of course...THE CRYSTAL BALL...HEH HEH HEH....LOVE it!!!

Helen, an exquisite fractal, truly beautiful and mysterious. Your question is an interesting one. I believe there are many people who have certain abilities. We use only a very small percentage of our brain. I have things that happen that I can't explain. You ever think of someone, the phone rings, and it is them, calling you? Ever have a song running through your mind, turn the radio on and it is playing? Ever say the same thing, at the same time as someone else does, word for word? Ever check the mail, take an envelope and know what the person has written before you open the letter, and that it is bad news? Ever know someone has died, without having heard the news from anyone? Have you ever been sound asleep and heard someone call your name, so real you sit up in bed and answer them, no one is there, but later you find out that the person whose voice you heard, had been thinking of you? Have you ever not thought of someone for several years, then all of a sudden they are on your mind, non-stop for weeks and you find out that they have cancer? Do you ever just know something, without knowing how you know it? Have you ever driven into a city in another state that you have never been in, and told the other passengers where certain stores were at? I have had all those experiences, and more that frankly are a little too spooky to share here. What is it? I don't know. I think sometimes certain people 'send' out thoughts and feelings, and other people 'receive' them. Certainly food for thought! Again Helen, this is so very beautiful! Leanndra

Wonderful picture .. I truly love the design and colors in this :):) I am a bit of a phsycic myself .. laying The Tarot cards .. and into Astrology . . having dreams of the future at night too. Having a very sensitive intuition about things most of the time. And like Leanndra I have too had rememberings of places I know I must have lived in previous lifes. Me and my husbond are having a very strong contact - we have been able to talk to each other through thoughts .. we sometimes had to when I still lived in Europe ! .. I have also been to psychics having a sitting .. that have not been such a great experience for me though ! .. I have not done it deliberately .. but it is like I have put up a fence so they can not really "see" my future . . I think that makes them frustrated .. I just wanted some answers from others .. did not know that they actually could not see anything !! Found that out much later .. as I knew they had told others a lot that came true ! .. OM .. I could get on and on when we are at this subject LOL ... I better stop now !! Hugsss zoozee :):)

Beautiful render - I would buy UF if I could even do a fraction of what you do (with the demo) but my mind just can't grasp it...so I come visit yours! :)) Myself, I do believe in the few credible pyschics like John Edward...but so many are frauds.... the world, seen and unseen is fascinating to me...and I love to watch Medium on TV too! ;)

That's some fancy crystal ball. Even if it can't see into the future, it looks good trying. Sure wish that I could use it about now....;) I have been a bit confused and overwhelmed myself! Another beauty Little Mouse.

I have never been to a psychic. When I am afraid,I pray to the One who will give Christmas it's true meaning. He deals in Hope without fear. A dear Friend, indeed. He gives Peace. A psychic was asked,"How come your house was destroyed in the tornado?" She replied," Well,I didn't see it coming!" The glass ball; the tapestry of mystery and charm with shades of hopeful hues; shapes of gentle whisps arouse interest and curiosity. So very lovely,Helen. Thanks for encouraging all the above comments from your talented and gracious critics.
