Truespace,Amorphium and Poser Jeff

Truespace allows Particle effects to be exported to mesh? Hmmm...

Those are really cool DEL. Are they OBJ's? Clint

Okay, Let's go thru this from start to finish shall we? I was trying to generate a particle sphere in amorphium but didn't want to repeatedly copy and merge sphere objs as this causes a new set of objs to be generated each time. So, I thought "why not try this in truespace where I can generate repeated primitives, then child link them all together at once without all the hassel. I did this and exported it as a DXF with each face unique. Then I imported it into amorphium, Where I was going to simplify them until they became little stars (which is what happens when you over simplify a sphere in Amorphium, they are quite nice but hell to work with.) NOW here's the trick When I imported the first time I unchecked Join Vertices by mistake. So what I ended up with was many small primitives made up of about 40 individual faces or planes. Then, using the Amorphium tools (Mainly noise and smooth) the Particle spheres and the Plant like spheres were born. Then, using UVMapper I mapped them (along the Z Plane), brought them into poser and used the grouping tool to apply color groups. So, Jeff, no TrueSpace 2.0 does not allow particle or OBJ exports, and Clint, Yes They were OBJ at one time (after Amorphium).
