I recently downloaded the Helskull.obj from 3dcafe, it comes with a texture but no readme or cr2. I tried to load it into Poser but got the message 'missing identifier on line 6296. It loads into a demo of C4d without any problems though I can't get the texture to work. Loading it into UVMapper results in the message 'the model contains out of range UV's ' I tried remapping with UVMapper and got the new obj file to load but the model has these holes in the mesh (see pic) these were'nt apparent in C4D. Anyone know how I can a) get the original model to load so I can use the original mapping, or failing that b) Fix the holes in the mesh - I checked "make polygon normals consistant" when I loaded it into poser. Hope someone can help!

Baz

Dude. I did exactly the same thing this last Saturday. No kidding. The holes were in exactly the same places. I wound up going with a different skull. It was the Gothic Skull--Remapped by royloo from Freestuff here.

I use royloo's remapped skull, also. The texture really makes it look convincing. The fact that it actually has teeth is a plus, also.

I posted a pic of the skull in an earlier thread.

Thanks for the recommendation everyone. I've just downloaded it but I haven't had a chance to play yet! Baz
