I read soemwhere that there are three characters known around th world

Superman, Sherlock Holms, and Tarzan

I belive there is one villian/monster that should be on that list.  Dracula/Vlad the Impailer

With that in mind, I started a new project for Vlad

Texture is started, and I am about to start the morh

Probably going to get in truble for this one :D

Looking at it closely, the cranium appears too large. Imagine him without hair.

willyb53 ( ) posted Fri, 12 June 2026 at 10:03 PM

I can narrow it down a bit, but he has a strange head, eyes are so close together I had to change limit on eyes apart  morph, and chin is so short I had to do the same :D

I  have only been working on it a day, I will get there, also have to change saturation on the texture

very interesting.  i do, however, think his neck is too thick/wide.  use the corners of his jaw as a guide/measurement maybe... just a thought.  can't wait to see where you get to with this :))

For the texture part of things it may be easier to work on the texture with the morph turned off. After you get the texture settled with the right landmarks, then start working on the morph.

Texture-wise you still need to move the nostrils in and get those mouth lines moved closer to the mouth. The chin shadow may need to be painted over so that it's lighter. Shadows are tough to get rid of on textures and it's hard to find well-lit head shots out there.  And good side views are even harder to find.

Keep at it, though, you're doing well 8-)

I agree

tI just put the texture on ther to give me a reference.  The final  texture will set a pack that matches the photo when rendered, I just like to have an iea where I am out.

YYou need to understand who and why I work.  I have AMD in both eyes, and have had cataract surgery in the left eye, sogiving me 20/100-20/200 vision

Even with that, I produce more new content for Poser characters than the combined market/freestuff areas at Rendo.

I jump around because my eyes get tired.

Most of my time is spent with D and D players and creating Avitars.

I will have this project done to the best of my ability before haloween this year, and probably have to to clothes for it which most Poser users will never see.

Since Rendo is mostly a DAZ site for character site, most of what I do will only be seen in the gallery if at all.

Sorry for any misspelling or typos, I have to touch type everythng and seldom proof read

Believe me I get it with the eye issues. I'm up there in years too.

This is how it goes. Should I or shouldn't I increase font size on the interface.  Nah if I do it throws all the other stuff off.

Blink ... Blink ... eye burn ... blink ... time to take a nap.

LOL

Oh!  One more thing.  If you happen to have ANY texture that comes close in skin tone, that has the eyes closed, you'll end up with better eye textures by just using that for the eyelids. Just dial the eyelids closed and paint away. IIRC you're using Blacksmith so it shouldn't be too hard to touch up the lids after everything else is done.

Also check eye morph with lids both open and closed. Gets touchy when you have extreme facial morphs, that's the most frustrating part of creating face morphs 8-)

I think Heidi is also a well-known character, at least the book has been translated into more languages than any other work of fiction I believe.

Heidi a villain?

Thread title doesn't say anything about villains, just well known fictional characters. Superman, Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan not villains either.
