Subject: Why do PAs remove items?

I come across abit of "unavailable" on Renderosity.

Why? Why take down/make unavailable 🤔

Recently they was a promoted in deals a item that was a texture pack for a item thats unavailable?

The store for both items is plum full of new and old products so not like they closed shop. There's been a few items I've wanted but were "taken down".

It could be for any number of reasons, such as:

Vendors moving some/all of their items to a different store

They decide that they no longer want to sell a particular item due to it being superceded by a newer version of that item

The item was created when they first started out as a vendor and were still learning the ropes, and they feel that it doesn't fit with, or have the quality of, their more recent output

...or a million other reasons only known to the vendors themselves.

I tried to edit my original post but I apparently don't have permission for some reason!

Anyway, the 3 reasons I listed above were all given by vendors that I have purchased items from, and a fourth reason I came across was that the vendor had streamlined the number of items available on their store and removed those with low/no sales.

Also, items that don't sell at all for a sufficiently long period of time (I don't remember how long, 6 months?) go into clearance and eventually get removed automatically.
