Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2026 Feb 27 3:10 pm)
This is taken from the ReadMe included with my products
Installation Instructions:
Extract the zip-archive with your zip program:
- Open WinZip and press the button -Extract-
- In the window -Folders/drives-, select the folder that contain your Vue files.
(e.g. c:\users\name\documents\e-on software\Vue 11 Infinite ). -- or your current version
- The check box -Use Folder names- must be marked.
That way, all files will placed in the correct path.
NOTE: Vue libraries can be accessed from anywhere - the above instructions will place the files in the folder that I specified during packaging. However, if you prefer to put them in your own custom folder then you can do so by unzipping the archive and moving the contents to the folder of your choice.
WARNING: Please be aware that if the files are too deep (i.e. - too many subfolders) it may cause certain versions of Vue to crash.
When you next open Vue your new collection should be visible - if not, in your browser, guide Vue to the included subfolders and make the new collections.

A quick search shows me my .vob files are in C:\ProgramData\e-onsoftware\VUE\Objects\ under various subfolders by type.

I'm using the newest version of Vue, which stopped working a long time ago, so I guess I am a newbie.
