La Femme 2 Forum: "Picnic with La Femme"


Welcome to the La Femme 2 forum picnic challenge. In this challenge, render La Femme (or any model) enjoying a county picnic. She’s lounging on a checkered blanket, unpacking a wicker basket, or sipping iced tea under a shady tree. Add a rustic touch—maybe a straw hat or a nearby hay bale. No need for fancy props; a blanket and a sandwich will do. Limited use of A.I. and public domain stock is permitted for background or lighting and color correction.


Staff is permitted to enter, but will not be eligible for prizes. Staff must Clearly state if an entry is staff created to avoid confusion for the judges.

For the picnic challenge, I propose my project "Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe," inspired by the painting by Édouard Manet, painted in 1863 and exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.

For your curiosity, I'll share the Wikipedia link about the painting: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_D%C3%A9jeuner_sur_l%27herbe.

For this project, I chose to set the scene in a tropical space available in Poser. The quartet is composed of LF2, LH2, LH1, and LF1.
There's no A.I. involved. I used Poser 13, Blender is a very slight dash of Photoshop. The rendering is SuperFly with HDRi.

If you have any questions about the different elements and their recompositions in this scene, I'd be happy to help. The list is long, but the solutions are simple!
For example, there's jewelry from Sveva and Jancory. There are textures from ODF, and clothing from Elleque. I dug out props and animals from the Poser 4 era... The tablecloth is the tropical terrain mesh with a fabric simulation and a downscaling.

To conclude, I suggest a little observation game. Can you find the three animals? Here's a clue: there's an insect, a bird, and a amphibian!
