I realize the coupon is time sensitive but the time is from 0600 to 0900 CDT. it is 0830 EDT where I am so it is within the time frame set. When I apply the coupon, nothing happens. Granted the item is the latest from the vendor but that has not been a problem with others. How do I get the coupon to work?

So much for support. The coupon didn't work during the time it was supposed to but if you try and apply it after, you get the message that says you can't use it. What is the point of these sales if the coupons don't work and support isn't around when it's needed?

I had a similar problem last week with Supernova's coupon. Also the time of the sale in the central time zone didn't actually change sale prices until 1 hour after the stated start time. I'm looking at Nekojas item page and only seeing a discount for the coupon which is 30% (except for one clearance item I already own) which makes it not a great sale in that other vendors who have participated put their items on 10 to 20% off discount which makes using their timed sale coupon 40 to 50% off which is a better deal. I understand the choice is up to the vendors about the discount (on top of the 30% off coupon) but it's wildly inconsistent in that it seems the website doesn't seem to update the sale prices on time to the stated time of the sale. I mentioned this before in a probably poorly worded post (last time was a very late evening).

Oh one possible solution though... could you have tried to use the coupon on a Prime item? On the Supernova coupon the only items with discounts were the Prime items (oddly enough they were marked that the coupon would work but actually didn't) while everything else in his store was marked no coupons accepted hence my not spending any money that night :(

Coupons are never good on Prime items or clearance items and the coupons are supposed to state that.

I will have to keep a closer eye to be sure they do. We are very sorry if the coupons in the past did not state that and from this point on, will make it a point to be sure it is.

In my case is wasn't so much the prime items as it was no items were on sale (past 1 hour of the sale) or had coupons working :( An hour into the sale a couple of items refreshed and showed some sale prices and that the coupon was usable. At that point I was too sleepy and a little grumpy from lack of sleep as well as disappointed. I do think there's a weird delay in the sale not starting on all vendors (listed in the sale) at the proper times.

It was not a Prime Item. I tried copy/Paste and manually typing in the code. Neither worked. I even logged out did a full restart of the system and logged back in. Still didn't work. This is not the first time during these flash or whatever they want to call them sales where I've run into problems. Especially on the sales that run after hours Central time. At this point, I give up. It's just another issue to add to the ever growing list of why we spend less and less money here.

I think if the sale is automated that there's something coded wrong in the update on these flash sales. I find that the 3 hour sales seem to be the most troublesome of the times I've been on, looking at the sale. I know it's been working on some vendors but I'll bet money that it's gone wrong for other vendors who don't realize they are losing sales due to the bug. Short of observing every nightly 3 hour sale and attempting to use a coupon for each vendor sale there's no way to prove it as a customer. Not going to do that... I will say I won't waste my time even trying on this type of 3 hour sale. Not knocking it for those who get it to work. Wish it always worked.
