Subject: Walk path

I click the walk path and it is too long. How do I shorten it or is there anyway to customize it for exactly what I need. I click on the dots and it seems to shorten it but the figure still keeps going until the end.

Poser 9-Windows.

Did you try using the scale parameters to adjust the length of the path?
I can't test right now, but I am pretty sure it works.

Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.

How do I find the scale parameters?

I'd suggest going to the top camera.  Zoom as needed.  Click and drag existing nodes as needed.  Click on path (but not an existing node) to add new nodes.  Alt-click to delete nodes.

Select the path from the object drop down.
Now you can adjust scale, x- and z-scale parameters.

Finally you can adjust the path by dragging the control points and by adding additional control points.

You can certainly scale the path, and you'll probably also translate it and y-rot it.  And after that you'll probably start dragging nodes around.  In most cases I'd just skip the scale/trans/rot stuff and just start dragging nodes.  You'll end up in the same place in the end with fewer steps.

Thanks to all. Very helpful.
