Subject: Fallen - short movie made in Vue ?

I am 99% certain it is... even God rays are there !

No Vue:
"XSI was used for the animation of the character (btw his name is "Schorsch") and the cam. We then brought the geometry over to 3ds max with point oven where the clouds, smoke and ocean were done with Afterburn, FumeFX and Dreamscape. Rendering was done with Vray."

Funny though how the Dreamscape ocean looks like a Vue one.

everything to me looked like Vue, even the clouds. I didnt see anything that couldnt have been attributed to Vue... save MAYBE for the planet before reentry. Fooled me for sure. Cool animation none the less.

Well, the clouds made me unsure, they didn't look like Vue clouds to me, not enough definition in the volume for Spectral2 clouds, but their overall shape was on the opposite better defined than Vue's.

Poor lil guy

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
