Ouch! I hope it's not bad enough to require surgery :(

I had a shoulder injury once. Nasty stuff. The doc gave me a shot right into the joint. Scared the crap out of me. This was before I was a diabetic and was still afraid of needles. But the doc was good. I didn't feel a thing, and the cortisone or whatever cleared it right up and no problem since.

A bulging disc in your neck, now that's true misery. And again, steroids cleared it right up, after I stubbornly suffered too long and finally went to the dr lol.

I have a bad right knee, 3 bad discs in my back and constant migraines.

The doctors want me to have a knee replacement, the discs removed and have my vertebrates fused together where the bad discs are. As for the migraines they tell me it is in my head, well DUH where else would you get migraines?

If you think I am joking take a look at my doctor bills.

Migraines SUCK. All in your head, right. I used to get migraines, but I was one of the really lucky ones that aged out of them. But when I was in my 30s, man. I remember those. Throwing up always helped me. I dunno why, but that seems to be the experience a lot of people have.

When I have back pain I take two vicodin7.5's and the Dr. calls me! Hehehehehe

Of course thats after I've called his office incoherently six times in two minutes.

Throwing up does help sometimes, but the best thing I found to help was a shot of brandy and 2 T3s w/codine.

I wish I had vicodan. I really do. But with no access to medical care and a medical culture that sees using pain meds as being worse than death, I can't get medication that would allow me to function on a higher level.

The brandy, well, I don't drink, really, but I will admit to enjoying a glass of good brandy now and then. For medicinal purposes, of course. It has to be good quality brandy, though. I think of it as an investment. Though I've never had the chance to try the famous pear brandy. I'd like to, but that stuff is beyond investment and into sheer luxury. I'm told it's quite lovely, though.

Sounds quite Canadian for a dude with nyguy as a handle....LOL...that's a common fix up here but I use ac&c[asperin w/codine...allergic as well to tylenol...the liver killer btw] with coffee as I'm allergic to booze...heh heh heh.. ...

I can't drink. I do have a cold beer now and again, and as I mention, a glass of brandy now and again. But my medical condition makes me hypersensitive to alcohol. In other words, it puts me right to sleep if I have more than one beer or one glass.

Tequila should actually be catagorized as a 'cure all,' not an alcoholic beverage! lol q-:  Hey!  I'm just kidding around here. (:
