Subject: .obj-import in Poser 7

EddyLoonstijn ( ) posted Mon, 30 April 2007 at 3:15 AM · edited Tue, 06 January 2026 at 4:48 AM

A very change thing not-happening: I try to do a simple straight import of an .obj-file into Poser 7.
The only thing I get is a vague "object-ring" as if there is some object but I cannot see anything in the scene!

Until now I only have imported morphtargets into Poser through the import-morphtarget menu, so I did not need to encounter this P7 problem.

Probably someone at this Forum will have encountered this same problem and hopefully found a solution?

Greetings Eddy Loonstijn, Netherlands

There was an error in Poser's import plugin after installing SR1.
The error did occur on systems using the comma as a decimal point.
This was corrected with SR1.1 available for download at efrontier.

Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Thanks for your quick answer...
However, visiting the e-frontier-URL I indeed found the update 1.1 file, but I could not download the file, stating that the file could not be found on the server (of e-frontier I suppose)
Maybe you can upload this file to me directly with YouSendIt or is there another way to download this updatefile?
Greetings, Eddy

By the way, I really like your 'subscript': Yesterdays the past, tomorrows the future, but today is a gift. Thats why its called the present
