Subject: how to make a lightbulb light up?

have a lamp on a table, but how do i make it light up in poser? the lighting in poser seems more like a sun than a lightbulb

Two things. 1. Change the Ambient setting of the bulb itself to bright white. 2. Create a Spotlight and move it to the bulb. For an example, look at my "1940 Lamp" in freestuff...
