2 days of modeling, hey, I'm a noobie, not very fast.

my first gun model was done with Ray Dream Studio, I won't
post a pic of that lol

this was done in LIghtwave, what an elegant program!

thanks! Here's the wireframe.

Heh...pakled, that's just what I thought. It reminded me a little of the Vindicator, that cheap cheap cheap one-shot pistol airdropped over occupied Europe. The idea of the Vindicator was simple...use it to kill an enemy soldier -- and take HIS gun. Another Ray Nightmare survivor, eh? (My first gun was done in RenderBoy. You really don't want to see that!)

Perhaps you are refering to the "Liberator", nomuse? I agree, the grip certainly does resemble that pistol. Interesting. Cya' in chat, chief. Cheers! M

Yer right. Shows you what a gun nut I am! According to Kevin Dockery; Liberator M1942 (code name .45in Flare Projector.) Steel stampings, smooth-bore tubing, no extractor. Was issued with a length of dowel (to get the expended cartridges out) and a comic-book of instructions. (Maybe they stole the design from the local gang's zip guns?) Why turn around and pull a book from my bookshelf when I could just rely on my faulty memory? ^_^;; (Here's the only picture I could find; http://www.bermanmuseum.org/wwars.htm )

here is a minor update of the gun.

Ah. I see what's going on with that front, now. I don't know what that little slide is, but it looks cool. Like you use the index finger of your left hand to push it back and...SOMETHING useful happens! Is hard to tell from this view but I don't see anything resembling magazine or ejector port...makes me think this is some interesting other kind of weapon that doesn't use cartridges. I dunno, if it were me I'd go that direction; come up with some kind of story and give it more of those intriguingly unique little mechanical details.
