Hello Anthony,
As a basis for writing your script, you can use my script Vertex Viewer Python Script to be found in the free stuff section. The link is: Vertex Viewer script

Thread: Identication of morph vertices | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello Cage,
Happy to hear from you. Thank you for taking time to look at this request and provide the script. I was thinking to write one if nobody have already worked on that. Some time ago, I wrote a small script to identify visually vertex by placing a small ball on the selected vertex. (See my freestuff for the script). About the distribution of the script, I use the freestuff section to share my scripts. You can always ask persons to contact you via the Renderosity site mail and send the script at their personal E-mail address.

Thread: Centering an object that needs to rotate on a specific point | Forum: New Poser Users Help
Hello bcoop,
The figure silhouette will look exactly the same back and front only under specific conditions. 1) You have to use the orthographic camera such as the front, back, right, left, top and bottom camera and 2) The second constraint is that the axis orientation of the figures should be at right angle with the camera. If you use the front camera, the axis orientation should be vertical. To know the orientation of the figure axis, open the Joint editor and check the orientation for the Body if you rotate about the body axis or the orientation of the hip if you rotate the figure about the hip joint.
To help you to generate the images, you can use my python script to be find in the free stuff section at:

Hello Oldcode,
You can do that with Poser Dependent Parameters. See Part 3 of my tutorial on Poser Dependent Parameter. Here is the link:

Thread: Projectiles in animation | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Hello authintix,
With Bullet physics, you can do the animation of a projectile. Here is the basic method using a simple ball as the projectile.
A projectile has two components: the gravity component acting downward with an increasing velocity and a constant velocity component having a direction and an intensity. The association of these two components gives the parabolic curve typical of a projectile
So, in Poser bullet physic, you first select the objects, the ground as the choregraphed object and the ball as the rigid dynamic object
For the properties of objects: you check the "Active" option for the ground and the "Active" and " Apply velocity at start frame" for the ball.
For the simulation, define the range of frames from 2 to 30. Note, the simulation will start at frame 2.
Now, move the ball up (yTran) to one Poser unit and xTran to 0.
Here is the main step. Be sure that the frame number is one. Next go the frame 2 and after, move the ball in the horizontal direction with the xTran dial by 0.150 Poser unit. What we do is to define the direction and intensity of the constant velocity component. If you set the xTran to 0.200, the projectile will go farther and if you add a yTran effect, the projective will go up before going down (Try xTran at 0.150 and yTran to 1.05 at frame 2)
Go the Setting and verify that the gravity option is negative (The default value is -10 in my Poser version).
Finally, apply the "Calculate Simulation". The projectile will follow a parabolic curve if you start the animation.
Good luck in your project

Thread: Poser and VR? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello Skuts,
If you want to do a VR scene with Poser, I explain that in a tutorial. Included with the tutorial is a Python script to generate the images need to create the panoramic or the equirectangular image. These special images can be viewed with a VR headset. Here is the link:

Hello Mrsparky,
I just read the tutorial of JCH about Sketchfab uploading. I was not able to upload a Collada model, something is wrong in my files So I tried with a object file and it works. However, the result was not good and I have to edit the model on line with the Sketchfab tools.

Hello all, Here is my first trial (test) with Sketchfabe. I used the free Antonia character, so copyright issue is not relevant. Probably not the case for other figures (Genesis, Victoria, Dawn, etc)

Hello,
Bravo hamiltonpl. Very happy that you have reach the last step. Yes, it is not easy to set the dependencies, but try to set just one move and after you repeat the process up to 40 times if you don't understand the multiplicative design.

Hello, Yes, if you can do that in Blender, this is the best solution because you will not break the model. After that you apply the dependencies as explained in the tutorial. Check you mail, I will send the tutorial of Helgard.

Hello hamiltonpl,
Yes, you got the process. In Poser, both versions (original and basic morph) should be save as Wavefront objects not as Morph Target. After that, you open a new scene in Poser and import the original version (This is your basic model). For this model, you load the "basic morph" as a morph target. Note that this is a Poser way to create the morph. Peoples that are good modeller create both versions in the Modelling application. If you provide to me your e-mail address via the Renderosity exchange mail , I will send to you a tutorial that Helgard provides to me about track moving. You can test my suggestion with my Folding paper model.

Hello HamiltonPL,
I think that you cannot use as such the model in the tutorial as a basis for your design. For me, the simple approach is to model the track in Blender taking care to define one group for each thread element of the track. To facilitate the rigging in Poser, it is better to model an unwrapped model of the track. You import the object file (Wavefront format) in Poser and you create a figure (Set up room) with each group assigned to a bone. Now, you will be able to bend the track as you want to have the original position of the track and the one step forward position (morph version). To create the morph version, you export the the modified track as a Wavefront object and after import the same as a morph target.
Take a look to my folding paper model in the tutorial (Section on SEQUENTIAL ROTATION, p 17). The unwrapped version of your track is like the form of the top upper left part of the figure 15, the morph version is like the the hexagonal form in the lower right part of the figure. Hope that you understand my explanation. I don't know your level of experience with Poser.

Hello hamiltonpl, In Poser, the main method to simulate tank track motion is repetitive morphing. It is also possible to move the track components around the track wheels. These method uses the Poser dependent parameters. Read Part 4 on my tutorial on Poser Dependent Parameter. See the section SEQUENTIAL MORPHING: Multiplicative Master design and tank track motion for the first method. The second method is explained in the section SEQUENTIAL ROTATION-TRANSLATION: Cable and pulley system. Here the cable is the track and the wheels are the pulley. I suggest to you the reading of all parts of the tutorial because you have to have a full understanding of the Poser dependent parameters. Here is the link to the tutorial. Part 4 of the tutorial Hope that this will help you Allstereo
