I'm looking for P4 nude woman. Anybody knows where I can find it?

The last time I checked, she was still in the Poser4 "Figures" library. ;=]

AKA the Posette, as you probably know. I think DAZ actually sells her (for Poser 3 users, I guess).

Jim Burton, are you sure about buying p4w from daz? I just had a quick look and couldn't see any mention might be there under a diferent name though. (didn't really look thoroughly though) I'm using Poser3 and P4W would be really useful! If you've got any info I'd appreciate it! Baz

Isn't the DAZ version called "New Young Woman"? Or is that a different character altogether?

I don't know much about NYW but I think it's a different mesh to P4W? The texture mapping is different at any rate. I'd really like to get P4W if it's possible, I already have loads of morphs, characters and textures for P4W, there's very little out there for NYW. (Well I've not seen much anyway!) Baz By the way, Daz have told me that Vicky will work with P3, apart from the trans maps of course. V1 would probably be a better buy than NYW (IMHO)

BAZ, I'd defer to your research. I confess I never had Poser 3, so I don't know anything about its capabilities. Vicky is definitely a very popular character, and that alone would make her a better buy. There are many many freebies for Vicky, and not so much for NYW. Ron

Well, we know the cr2 for Vicky can't be transfered, but what about Posette? Since she comes with Poser, would there be an issue?

You know, I would have sworn that I've seen the Posette for sale at DAZ... But she isn't there now, in any case, sorry I said she was! The NYW is another mesh, Happyworldland has (or had, I gotta watch what I say) some free textures for her, I gather she is also mapped differently.

If you want a half-step, there are some P3 Nudfem figures that have been remapped to accept P4 maps. and btw, slight correction, the Vicky1 .cr2 can be exchanged, it is Vicky2 .cr2, with the additional MT's, that cannot be redistributed. The Posette .cr2 can be exchanged -- Free Stuff is full of them. (It is the .obj files in the Geometries folders that cannot be distributed))

Thanks for the info folks! I have a couple of remapped P3NFs, haven't tried them yet though. Helborn's WWG is a good halfway figure too, much larger face on the tex map. Baz

And just wanted to also make sure that you were aware that morphs for the P4 NudeFem head work on the P3 Nude Fem (same mesh for heads). Also, there are still quite a few P3 body MT's available. (I know Staale has quite a few on his site.) So, with the remapped P3 figure and a whole bunch of the old morphs, you can get similar results in most cases.

IMHO I suspect that you will find transparency mapping & conforming figures more compelling reasons to get into P4.

Thanks Nance, I shall be getting P4 as soon as I can afford it! The extra lights and magnets are pretty compelling reasons too! :o) For anyone else using P3, Ultramorphman & Ultramorphwoman by Confusius (freestuff) have masses of morphs, too many for my little imac, I had to deleat some head morphs before I could use them.
