So I don't know how many of you dying breed of people out there know as poser creators their are left, but this comic writer would like you to draw attention to a problem I have. In short we need more teenage boys in poser. Yes I can use M4 and tools to shrink him in to shape, but often under the clothes bits of the body are turned off! . If one of you Creators out there could make a true size teenage boy that can use M4 clothing, it would be straight on my wish list and make this comic writer very happy. (especially if we also had options to change skins and faces)

Thank you for your attention to this matter. :)

P.S: No I don't want to switch to DAZ.

I don't quite understand your question, because there are already adolescent figures in Poser.

So, first question: how do you define an adolescent?

What is it about the existing models that doesn't work for you?

And since you're looking to use M4 clothing, would your request be based on the M4 figure?

mr_red ( ) posted Mon, 27 July 2026 at 5:22 PM

The problem is the male figures such as M4 are too tall and don't look young enough.

like i said I do have size altering tools but they look out of place some how, too old.

So yes an M4 based teenager would be perfect.

Do you have any examples of teenagers from Daz or Renderosity?

Do you consider Luke or Ben to be teenagers, or are you looking for someone older?

I never liked creating morphs for M4; I came across this test based on a morph called Kyle or Polymorph.

I understand the desire to use M4.  there are more morphs/clothes/textures for M5 than for any other male figure that will work in Poser.

I think that that was what the original poster was wanting.

And at that point, I prefer M6, but perhaps the person asking stopped at M4.

I have poser 11 and I don't have the funds to go higher (and also it would take me a month to  sort the files out if I went to poser 14 or such)

the teenagers I use are M4 with morphs and  I have one for poser 3 but the clothes for him are limited. I have seen one more poser teenager that I think is for poser 14 but I have not seen much clothing around also will he work in poser 11?

I am looking for a teenager model age about 14.

As long as the character is created with morphs (not scale or posees0, i WOULD SPAWN A FULL BODY MORPH, ZERO THE FIGURE, AND SET THE SPAWNED MORPH TO 1.

tHEN USE COPY MORPHS FROM TO ADD THE MORPHS TO THE CLOTHES ITEM.  mY FREEBIE ON SAVING MEMORY AND DISKSPACE IN POSER HAS A TUTORIAL USING lAfEMME, BUT WILL WORK WITH ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING mR/vR

Sorry about the caps, but I touch type and did not want to retype it all :D

If you got Col's M4K4 Mixer when it was still available, or find it for sale elsewhere, that works well.

For faces, you need to find ones without stubble.

Willy's solution for consolidating and copying morphs is what I use for most of my story characters. Most times, I'll even copy the spawned morph to a new figure so I don't have all the morph++ morphs taking up memory/space

I think I need to go back to the poser book or find a tutorial here, I'm entering new ground again.

I think I need to go back to the poser book or find a tutorial here, I'm entering new ground again.

I don't have M4; I'm still working with M3 and V3.  Conforming clothing always behaves unpredictably when I start scaling characters' individual bones.  If scaling bones is something you do a lot, you have no choice but to learn some fix-it tools yourself.

The good news is that I think the basic fix-it tools are very easy to learn.  I've learned most of what I know just from looking at the manual and then experimenting until I figured it out.  (Though that's the slow method; consult tutorials when you find them.)

I use the magnet deformer a lot to fix clothes, I think magnets are simple to use.  They are also good for creating custom character morphs, like if you want to un-square a jaw to make it more round.

I use the Morphing Tool quite a bit, it's good for smoothing things out, or tightening or loosening certain areas.  It's good at creating or remove creases, in clothes or faces.

The Grouping Tool assists both the magnets and the Morphing Tool, because the area of effect of both can be limited to groups you define.

Spawn Morph Target and Create Full Body Morph save your work.

Learn those- which I don't think are hard to learn- and I think you'll be able to mostly create your own solutions.

I also find that some conforming clothes work better as dynamic clothing.  I'm sure there's a tutorial somewhere that will teach you that.  (I export to/import from Blender to do it, but I'm pretty sure there are tools within Poser to do it for you too.)

thank you for the info BJbrown.

could someone tell me if I can access the poser handbook outside of the program? I've been looking around but not sure if it's on my pc or accessed for elsewhere?
