Since month, I'm doing my thumbnails for the gallery isn't jumping in all directions, worse than a mosaic. And today, with the change, I see it was worthless: the titles are now doing the distorsion, making all the column below it going lower than the same images on their respective lines. And... the dates are messing. Why am I seeing a June 22 between a June 24 and a June 23??? Knowing that I post 2 (sometimes 3) images a day. And that one of the June 22 is well installed; but the third is between 2 of June 21... and so on so on.
Not happy with that part of the change because it's false to tell "Sort by: Newest to Oldest"

What you are describing is likely due to the mosaic style of Gallery. Can you post a screenshot for me to confirm?Since month, I'm doing my thumbnails for the gallery isn't jumping in all directions, worse than a mosaic. Here are 3 screenshots I took few hours ago, before to post 2 new images. The issue I think come firstly from the second column starting on our left, at least on my gallery. But everything is crazy. And I don't understand the fact that dates from June are on 2 lines, while those for July will be on 1 apparently. There is plenty area to write such dates.

Also, beside my gallery, I found at least one of the people I follow with a mixed gallery. He is rrkknight3, and it's pretty difficult to "read" his story when arriving by the gallery.

I understand for him there are shifts because of the size of his thumbnails. But the dates are also mixed. I can make at the long term with "disloged" images in the same column, but dates that's a big issue.
Otherwise, I found after my previous message that now we can link the freebies present on the site under our images. That is something I like very much. Will avoid maybe to have "I don't find the item" comment even when it's indicated where it is in the text lol And it's very useful when we use something from the RMP, with a free addon.

May I suggest to use in the galleries the same kind of code than for the freebies? I mean concerning the dark frame below the thumbnails? Or to reserve 2 lines (even when only 1 is enough) for the titles, adding automatically 3 dots if the title is longer? That's way, the galleries would begin to be a little better to "read" in the order. And who knows? Maybe the mixed dates will stop to be mixed?
Because I see that even somebody like Paulienchen, who has regular thumbnails in size but only few 2 line titles has mixed dates.

Your screen size is a bit unorthodox. May I ask what screen size you work with? I have made some adjustments that should alleviate the odd display you are experiencing.May I suggest to use in the galleries the same kind of code than for the freebies? It's a laptop, not sure about I just cut the bottom. Screen is something like 1360 something (maybe 1365) x 768.
And since yesterday, thank you for the fixed galleries' black area!
I still see mixed datations which I don't understand, but something like half numbers compared to before. Maybe the site will do by itself a change in the next days, we'll see.
