It dos sound like a bad character/morph file. When you load a figure such as Genesis DS reads al of the back-end assets (the stuff in /data/daz 3d/Genesis 8/Female/ in this case) so that it knows what properties to add to the Parameters pane, which UV sets to add to the Surfaces pane, how they all relate/trigger each other and so on. I would guess that something has a link to a file that isn't there, and so you get the warning. If you check the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File) and search for Bliss you should find a more complete error message that will tell you exactly which file is triggering the warning, you an then either uninstall it, ask the maker for a fix, or try editing it to fix it yourself.
I know I have the total write-up,/Volumes/Di2/online store/DTG/BilssG8/BlissDoll.Duf.
I've looked into the data file, and nothing is out of order that I can tell. In the log, there are two warnings, failed to load ( /Volumes/Di2/online store/DTG/BilssG8/BlissDoll.Duf), that is all. Now this is a new install, new hard Drive, new computer, etc.
What was the Value on the data file? It should be zero. If not the base will automatically load with the morph.
I have seen(it's very rare though) the odd morph that does that.
Out of curiosity where did you get the morph? If it was from Daz this shouldn't be happening their QA is normally good.
Is this the product we're talking about? https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/124056/dtg-studios-bliss-for-g8f
I'm not on the computer at the moment. So iirc go to data folder, find the folder for the character, normally under the vendors name. Daz has a couple of folders, go to the relevant genesis folder, there should be a morph folder inside. Look for the Bliss morph and open it in notebook or similar. Look at the value...it should be zero that way it won't automatically load with genesis. Sorry full of cold at the moment.
If you are getting a missing file warning while loading a character/figure, then there are only two ways DS does this.
First is a bad/missing parent, every single morph DSF file in the data folder has a parent file listed, DS uses that "parent" to make sure that the files it's loading are meant for that figure, if the "parent" points to a bad/wrong file then DS refuses to load it, if the "parent" points to a missing file then you get a warning as well as the file not loading.
Second is a missing texture file.
Now I was at one of my friends on Monday to fix an issue with one of her recent purchases, after doing that I had a look through her downloads, turns out she has DTGs Bliss, now it's not well made, but after checking her files and the file list here at Rendo that file "dtg bliss bliss doll.duf" doesn't exist in the product, there isn't even a character preset in it just shaping presets.
Now for the parent to be that bad someone has to have really ****ed up big time, as DS will add the correct parent to a file as it's creating it.
Time to learn what all of that info means in the log file, as you now have to figure out which is the bad DSF file and then how to repair it.
