Although some tutorials are rushed, have you tried YouTube?

What are you looking to create what kind of models and since you are using Bforartists3 they have their own Youtube Channel  https://www.youtube.com/@bforartists As to regular Blender I highly recommend the follow Youtube Channels

 zerobio  https://www.youtube.com/@zerobio

PIXXO 3D  https://www.youtube.com/@PIXXO3D

Ryan King Art  https://www.youtube.com/@RyanKingArt

I think these channels are some of the easiest to follow tutorials that will give you a good base to start off with and they are usually project based tutorials that are done in chunks so as not to over whelm you

Have you ever used Blender before at all or is 4.2 where you are starting?  BTW, I agree with Lobo's suggestions, but if you're just coming into 4.2, then BlenderGuru is a good choice too.  He recently upgraded his famous beginner Doughnut tutorial for the 4.x Blender family and it covers a great many of the tools in one simple tutorial series.

CG Cookie still has some free tutorials on their site and many are still applicable from modeling basics and topology granted many of the free ones are for some older version of Blender but the techniques and how to get started with modeling are universal across many modeling software so if you can not access YouTube then that might a potential resource you can look at

I never thought of CG Cookie, I will try that. My tablet is working on YouTube. I had a Grandkid set it up, but a little hard to use and work the computer for Blender.

thank you all for this help

John
