Question if you do people/fashion renders: is it usual to have about 8 or 9 disasters for every good one? Not talking stuff that's easily cropped or Photoshopped out, I mean things like arms and legs merging together. Or an arm with a foot, sometimes wearing a shoe, sometimes not, at the end where the hand should be. Worse by far, though, were the ones that had a head and torso or sometimes just the head and maybe a partial limb stuffed into a shoe or boot(s) of gigantic size with everything else wrongly proportioned. Have not seen such trainwrecks since the bad old days of Stable Diffusion 1 beta, now even consistently reliable models are throwing up ridiculous mutations like that with every batch I've run so far today. It's gone completely off the rails and no matter what I do, I just can't seem to steer it back. Some samples of the insanity, cropped on account of size and such. If anyone's got ideas, I'm -- dare I say it? -- all ears.
#1: Hand melded into foot
#2: Arm that ends with foot in shoe, not hand.
#3: Half human, half shoe. I can't even ...
Help???
Yeah but that's for MidJourney, no idea if Stable Diffusion uses style points. Haven't found any mention of it in the flavour I'm running anyway. I thought I might have written a confusing prompt but after double checking and careful editing I ended up with two non-borked renders, a couple of headless and footless wonders and this delightful little thing:

Charming creature, isn't she?
Is MidJourney any good for fanart now or is it still so-so/no-go? I have heard some named persons, like politicians and maybe celebrities are verboten on the platform. Anyone had luck getting it to do Sherlock Holmes or Star Wars/Star Trek and Harry Potter characters?
Cannot run Stable Diffusion 2.0 on my rig, at least not with the NMKD Gui I'm using. The model takes forever on just one render at lowest res and without face restoration on. When it doesn't crash. :-(
rhol I would hope you don't wantto walk in your sleep in those places
Bakapo I would suggest an Online Computer warehouse for getting a new Puter, cheaper usually, I got several that way I'd try Tigerdirect.com they carry a lot of discontinued Models from Dell. HP, Compaq and other brands new with Full and Extended warranties they also have current models and add ons and peripherals.
Remember...No matter where you go there you are
Bakapo - you don't need a power pc to do AI stuff, so a decent laptop with a 15 or 17 inch screen would be all you need. Like Len said, lots of good deals out there. I would stick to a good brand name if you want something reliable. Let me know if you find something in your budget and I'll help with some reviews if you like. I'm also impressed with the stuff you can do just on your phone, thanks for the Wombo fun, you always get me going back to it and trying new stuff, lol... ;)
I couldn't resist a dragon bath, thank you Gill, you are missed... ;)

An interesting version of the old Genesis tune...
You are working on a phone? I can't even imagine trying to do that. If you're computer shopping, Dell has a big summer sale on now, might be something to your taste and your budget there. I have been looking to get a bigger graphics card but looks like not happening at the moment, maybe later when prices go down a bit. Good luck & good hunting.
Epic fails, oh yeah. Last batch had extra legs, two feet on one leg and impossible physics like a character doing a high kick -- think Can-Can dancer -- while also trying to sit on an invisible stool or chair. Dunno what's up with the darn thing, must be gremlins. Or are those only on airplane and in 1980s movies?
And a good example of how Gill's dragon bath idea can go off on many tangents. Saturday morning cute cartoon version, ha...
very cute tangent!
I started out trying to do a poster for the movie "The Itilian Job" it never really materialized got this miss mash of stuff instead

Ah, can't keep a good dragon down y'all :)
Sorry. lot of stuff all at once. I have *most* of my can't do without programmes installed on the new PC, still going through a few, plus working with Laz and the animal charity AND another "merch partner". Surprised I'm finding time to sleep hahaaaaaaa
I do pop in here in the morning to have a browse through what you've all been posting.
On a side note - anyone here use Filter Forge....have you seen that they're bringing out another version alongside - Ultra Forge.... guess what. It's AI based. I bought the lifetime licence for FF when they first rocked up so will still get any future updates to the INSTALLABLE SOFTWARE, but I suspect that as it's now subscription based, the new version will be also, so unless it's absolutely OOTW then I may pass, but I'll give it a trial at least.

Wicked! Heard MidJ got some new features, those aliens look awesome. Could very well be movie scenes, wonder if Hollywood's paying attention. They're always on the lookout for the next big blockbuster.
Been busy with RL chores today so not had time to see if SD's gonna behave properly for me. But I did get time between disasters yesterday to play with Clipdrop. These are done with Stable Difusion XL. I hear it has a fix for borked hands. We'll see...

Simple prompt used: dachshund and jack russell detective dogs on the case -- anime style
Also, Dragon Duckies!

These too are from Clipdrop. The Re-Imagine tool is hit or miss, I find. Has been known to turn properly drawn faces into absolute horror shows but this time it did what it sez without making duckies totally psychotic a la The Joker or worse. But you cannot use the Download HD button to get your images from this because that link brings up a subscription box asking you to pay first. Not sure if it's intentional -- I couldn't find a mention of it anywhere so maybe it isn't supposed to work -- or a "bug" they haven't caught yet but if you right-click and open the image in a new tab, it is possible to save it. No watermark, which leads me to suspect that's a loophole that will eventually be fixed.
