Subject: A.I. Image generation websites

Kenmac ( ) posted Sat, 24 June 2023 at 11:39 PM ยท edited Sun, 28 June 2026 at 4:37 PM

Here are links to A.I. image generation websites that I've been sitting on for a while. I figured I'd share them with everybody here.

Playground AI - https://playgroundai.com/   Has three free models, Playground Version 1 (Default model), Stable Diffusion 1.5 and Stable Diffusion 2.1. Paid model is DALL-E 2. Plenty of image generation options. Sign up for free.

Open Art - https://openart.ai/discovery   Just like Playground, has free models and the paid model is DALL-E 2. Default model is OpenArt Creative. Lots of free credits available.

Dezgo - https://dezgo.com  Not very well known but this also has a fair number of models to choose from. Completely free, no account required.

Orignal Stable Diffusion Demo - https://huggingface.co/spaces/stabilityai/stable-diffusion  Completely free to use.

Mage Space - https://www.mage.space/  Free to use but I'd recommend signing up. Two models available, Stable Diffusion 1.5 and Stable Diffusion 2.1. There are other models available but you have to pay to use them.

Lexica - https://lexica.art/  This started off as an image search website but they've added the ability to generate your own images. Click on the "Generate" link to do that. It's free to sign up. There are two models available, Aperture V2 and Aperture V3. Click on advanced settings to choose the model you want. You can also manually adjust the dimensions of your image before you generate it.

Versatile Diffusion - https://huggingface.co/spaces/shi-labs/Versatile-Diffusion  Free to use with lots of functions. More information is on the website.

Karlo - https://huggingface.co/spaces/kakaobrain/karlo  Free to use and based on the DALL-E 2 technique.

Protogen - https://huggingface.co/spaces/darkstorm2150/Stable-Diffusion-Protogen-x3.4-webui  Free to use and based on the Protogen model.

Instant Art - https://instantart.io/  Free to use but it works better with an account. Click on the "Generate" link. It has many models to choose from. The only problem is sometimes the website can be a little inconsistent and slow at times.

Picfinder - https://picfinder.ai/  When you first land on the website it looks like it's an image search site but what this website does when you enter what you're searching for is to generate images at a very fast rate. Free to use. The default model is okay but if you click on the settings link you'll get access to other models you can use instead along with the aspect ratio if you want to change that.

Skybox - https://skybox.blockadelabs.com/  Free but you can sign up for an account. This is for creating landscapes that you can virtually move around in. Very addictive.  I mentioned this website before in a previous thread.

Vintedois Diffusion - https://replicate.com/22-hours/vintedois-diffusion  Free to use. This uses the Vintedois model which is more of a "painterly" type of model.

Clipdrop - https://clipdrop.co/  Free to use but you can sign up. This is more focused on tools to use with Stable Diffusion but you can use text to image. Click on the "Tools" dropdown menu and select "Stable Diffusion XL" The other tools are really nice to use as well.

Catbird - https://www.catbird.ai/  Like Dezgo, another not very well known website. it's another Free to use site but it's better with an account. The neat thing about this is the fact that you can generate lots of images using different models at once. Once you're signed in, click on the "Customize Models" drop down and you can select which models and how many images you want to generate.

Diffusion Art - https://diffusionart.co/  Free to use. This is basically a front end for models that are on the Hugging Face website.

Fusion Brain - https://fusionbrain.ai/en/  Free to use. This is unique in the fact that it doesn't use any Stable Diffusion models, rather it has its own uniquely trained model which has a very distinct and different look. On the bottom left side of the website you'll see a menu that has different style settings that you can choose. Because the look is so distinctive you'll either like it or you'll choose instead to stick with the Stable Diffusion models available on the other websites.

Wombo - https://dream.ai/create  Of course we can't forget good old Wombo. This was the first A.I. image generator I used on a regular basis and I still check it out from time to time. It has many free models as well as some paid ones.

Most of these websites have pros and cons to them but they're all usable for the images you want to create. If you have any A.I. image generation websites that I've missed, let me know, tell me a bit about them and I'll add them to the list.

Well I must obviously advocate for Night Cafe and Vana.Portrait since I've made threads here about them and am currently binging on Vana.Portrait with 5 accounts with models of me from 5 different stages in my life.

There's a very limited one built into Bing Search, I think it's based on Dall-E.

Thanks. Was reading about clipdrop last night but forgot to bookmark. Curious to try out their new uncrop tool.

Hmm, it seems I can't edit my original post but thanks for the suggestions Steve. For future reference both NIght Cafe and Vana Portrait require you to create an account and log in.

Yes it is. As far as I know you also need a Microsoft account to use it.

You're welcome Byrdie. They have some pretty cool tools worth checking out.

Signed up for free, been playing and got some very useful results. Will see how far it works out. Looks quite promising indeed, though I dare not try fixing any of my artistic nude/skimpy bikini pinups that could benefit from such tools. Anybody know of a site for those? Not p0rnZ, just taking a bath/lounging about type nekkies. Alas, I have not the vram power to run many AI tools on my own rig and that is not likely to change unless I win the lottery or inherit a fortune from some rich relative I've never heard of. Hey, it's been known to happen!

They do, but they are both free to start. Vana gives you 20 credits, but buying more couldn't be more cheap! Nigh Cafe actually lets you earn credits daily just by logging in and voting on contests, and there's the 5-day streak credits for creating  five days in a row....

Honestly, as badly as I'm addicted to Vana, its sole purpose for me is making avatars of myself. $2 for 20 credits makes for 80 avatars. Then there's $5 for 50 credits and $10 for 100.

Wombo has recently - past couple of days - updated their system.  Basically the same engine with a few tweaks and some changes to the front end.  This is Wombo, on Discord, btw, not Dream.

Anyhow, IMO, it represents very good value.  Subs are around $5 per month for unlimited generations.  NSFW is allowed, too, but with certain restrictions.  You can add your own server there and many - but not all - restrictions are lifted.  Basically, on your own turf you can gen anything so long as it's legal.

Quality is usually good, there's the option to build your own styles and a good community who are willing to help.

Here's another one to add to the list:

https://zoo.replicate.dev/  New to me, this one uses up to seven different models at once, Stable Diffusion XL (which wasn't working for me at at the time I tested it), Stable Diffusion 2.1, Stable Diffusion 1.5, DALL-E, Kandinsky 2, DeepFloyd IF and Material Diffusion. It's interesting to see the results you can get from these different models while using one prompt.

Kenmac ( ) posted Thu, 06 July 2023 at 2:52 PM

I was originally going to post this as a new thread but I figured I'd add it here since the focus is on A.I. image websites. Youtuber Matt Wolfes most recent video involved him trying a test with various A.I. websites. He created one prompt and used it in various websites to see which image would turn out the best. Here's the prompt BTW: "A blonde woman on an urban city sidewalk with skyscrapers in the background on a beautiful, sunny day"

He generated four images on each website and his results varied. But if I were to choose which image(s) I thought turned out best it would be a tie between Stable Diffusion XL and Midjourney. The worst by far came from CrAIyon. As Matt said in the video, it's "nightmare fuel".  :o) The thing that surprised me though is that he didn't use Dream by Wombo. Maybe he wasn't aware of it? Personally I think the Wombo website is a real sleeper and very underrated. So, since he didn't use Wombo I generated four images using his prompt which I'll add in the post after this and you can tell me which one you preferred in terms of both realism and composition. Here's the link to Matts video: https://youtu.be/-c4w-CAukSk

Here are the images I did in Wombo using the original "Realistic" setting. I probably could have gotten better images if I had have used "Realistic 2" instead but this was just to show how things work out of the box so to speak. None of them are show stoppers but let me know which one you prefer.

At first I didn't notice that but if you look in the bottom right corner you'll see text where it says "Why Ads?" then when you click on it you get that message. If it bothers people they can always use one of the other A.I. generative websites that are listed in this topic. There's no shortage of them.  :o) Thanks for that HartyBart.
