Thiis one looks similar to an oil painting I bought from an antiques shop in Buxton many years ago as a present for hubby !Trying different subjects with Gill's painting prompt, (muted colour palette, impasto technique, textured brushwork, impressionism, post - impressionism, , gorgeous stunning art, nostalgic charm)...
Thanks for the fun Gill... :)

Have also seen similar ship paintings, very often on walls of doctor's offices. A popular subject and no doubt favorites get often imitated be it by hobbyists, art students or AI generators. I wonder who thought of it first? Probably not some guy in a landlocked cave, that's for sure.
Love the little girl in the field with her kitty! Kids, cats and flower gardens are also very popular subjects, maybe because there's so many of them about if one is in the mood to paint. My grandparents and greats had similar pictures in big old Victorian styled frames on their parlour walls. Not proper paintings of course because (a) not many artists around this town back then and (b) way too poor for things like that. Just very nice prints that in most cases used to be calendars.
Yes, definitely Sherlock and Mycroft.

Gah! Just noticed the borked right hand.
Such a regal pupper there, gill! How did you get him into that outfit? I have been trying to put martial arts outfits and fantasy gear on my cats but SD wasn't having any of it. Prompt was "kung fu kitty" and this is what I got instead of something like the ones here: https://www.reddit.com/r/aiArt/comments/11hw8on/cat_kung_fu_class/

And Samurai Cat got no armour, but some had interesting colour patterns and expressions.

Last one really has the Wise Master vibe going. If only he had the accessories to carry off the look!
Lunaseas those crowns are awesome, rhol_figament's look like the Queen Consort 🤣
For those of you who have been around since the early pages, you might remember the heavy metal hamster band 'Trauma'. Well they have a new album out... ;)

TRAUMA

Drown In The Confusion
I try to stay afloat,
I try to stay alive.
I try to keep my head,
Above the waves,
I try not to drown,
In the confusion.
Ayron Jones - Blood In The Water
Cool, I'm his biggest fan! After a running wheel accident, the lead guitarist is back in full force, co writing three songs on the new album... ;)

A very simple prompt of a border collie wearing luxurious coronation robes and crown.Such a regal pupper there, gill! How did you get him into that outfit? Royal Cat Family, anyone?

I played with the prompt a bit, adding "digital painting, impressionism, post-impressionism, gorgeous stunning art". This is not the standard model that comes with Stable Diffusion, it's a custom mix I picked up over on CivitAi. Name of it is dreamshaper_5BakedVae.safetensors. I had to convert it to a .ckpt so it would work in the older version I'm running, so far it gives very nice results. Kung Fu kitties are also a go but I'll post those later.
all the kitties are wonderful 😻
AaaaHaHaHa!! Bet ya'll thought I died from Food Poisoning or something actually we just decided last minute were going to Austin for a Live Music Fix so we did. Loaded up the 64 Pan in the back of the Beater and took off for Mike and Mona' place in Austin, Mike is my best friend for almost 50 years he's lived in Austin the last 30. Spent most of our time at Antone's Nightclub, good music man, All Them Witches is going to do 2 nights there June 1st and 3rd, both shows sold out for weeks already. Did get tickets for Tears for Fears July 17th at the Moody Center, don't know what they're like these days but Songs from the Big Chair is in my all-time Fav Albums list, so we'll see. So I didn't die yet just decided to Kick off the Summer with a Road Trip.
Tears for Fears: EWTRTW last year

Len, glad you're ok :)
Now, here's a little tip I picked up from MidJ FB group - and it works. If you want to see what your prompt is like with different versions, the quick way to do is below using permutations....just put in whichever versions you want, comma separated. I did the one below with just a simple fantasy forest test
--v {3,4,5.1,5.1 --style raw}

Blink twice and everything changes. This AI business is certainly progressing fast. Many improvements, but some of the best I cannot use on my machine because of that darn GTX 1660 graphics card. Did these last night using one of the newer SD 2.0/2.1 models. Took practically forever to render and that was at the lowest settings that were acceptable enough and did not cause freezes and crashes due to insufficient vRam.

No, I did not invoke That Actor's name, and I really, really did not want any hats. Or if there must be hats, a proper deerstalker. Will fix it if I ever get inpainting worked out right. Also some of the buttons on the vest in #3 need sorted and I really haven't a clue what's up with his outfit in that last render. Not sure if it's a trick of the lighting or if SD made a really bizarre fashion choice.
I probably won't use this particular model very often until I get a better graphics card. Which ain't gonna be any time soon. :-(

Also I too am glad you are ok Len!
Lou was out all morning "Shopping" spelled "Spending', that's OK when she does that it's always on her acct never ours (mine, what's mine is hers). Anyways she got home about an hour and a half ago with a couple bags of stuff and Tacos and Burritos for dinner, Yay! After taking the other stuff to the Bedroom she came back out and tossed me a Box and said Happy Birthday which it's not, a pair of Sennheiser HD 206 Headphones, I'd been looking at those on Amazon but wasn't quite sold on them, face it it's the cheapest Sennheiser makes anymore. They sound freaking amazing I can't believe a $40 dollar set of Phones has such a soundscape, I can retire my 15year old Koss Headphones Yay again (Geeze I Love that gal) gotta do something for her now...Hmm.
Pete Townshend - Face The Face...found this while testing the new Phones, I got this album(or had anyway have to try and find it now) must be 3 decades since I remember seeing it, Pete Townshend at his Anti-Apartheid best

Pete Townshend: White City Fighting
Just realized she'd be lucky to shoot the Ground...that's her right hand on her left arm. V51 an improvement? not so sure

Yeah it's all kinds of punk-stuff Cyberpunk, Deathpunk, punkPunk mix that with Movie PosterLooks kinda sci fi/cyberpunk-ish to me. Maybe that's a bionic arm she's got that can rotate in whatever freaky direction she wants? Or a mutation of her joints, making her extremely super-flexible. Who knows? Really cool renders, though.
