My pleasure there is allot being shared with the new release and wealth of info these are nice and short and give some pretty decent overviews and a starting place to get up and running with Blender 2.8

I haven't downloaded yet (So afraid my PC won't be compatible) but the interface is finally something I can work with ... I've just gone through tutorials for years, but never actually created anything yet. This will hopefully get me to the real part of Blender!!

Sure, Blender fundamentals tutorials are a good starting point.
The most interesting point to me is that they are short.
Yesterday I watched a video on sculpting. It lasted 30 minutes but all could have been said in 15. I have the strange feeling of wasting my time when somebody says "this modifiers does so and so but is no use in scupting". What the heck ?!?

I have found that Youtube tutorials are good as long as they are somewhat short if I want more in depth longer ones then I will pay for them because they are more scripted and almost professionally edited to the point that you feel like your in a classroom if that makes sense. these are some of the pro tutorials creators I support CG Masters (Blender), Thomas McDonald (Blender ArchViz Udemey), The Redbeard - Matt Thorup (Zbrush Gumroad), Neil Bettison (Blender Youtube and Udemy), Julien Deville (Blender Udemy and Blender Market) and our very own LuxXeon (Blender & 3DS Max Youtube) these are artist and creators who have earned my patronage over the years and learned allot from

Sure. I seldom attented any online course mainly because I only have rather basic needs in 3D.
The only one I did where for Poser. Some tutorials I purchased on the market place and the Renderosity tutorials by Mark Bremmer. I learned a lot on Poser with them..

Ok, this is silly ... I finally made the obligatory chair. First thing I made. Here is the game changer for me. I could never get the hang of the navigation from previous versions. NOW I can navigate intuitively and smoothly!! I'm off and running! Carry on you gurus. Just had to share!

Looking around for the Guru's hardly consider myself a Guru lol but what I will say and this is where being the moderator of this particular forum makes me so proud every member who has ever posted novice, experienced, amateur and pro have always made everyone welcomed and the sharing of info tips tricks and experience with each other so fruitful you will find no one puts on airs and there is no judging we just I feel enjoy helping one another and that is why I so proud of this forum so glad your finding your way Boni and we will cheer you on

Awe! Thanks guys ... I just needed to expand my toolbox and have always liked what Blender could do ... just kept getting stymied trying to navigate. This is so much easier.
