quick and clumsy test to simulate wind using morph targets and magnets, not as easy as I expected but hope to get something useful sooner or later; the good news: this method works with replicators. ciao

It works for me.. if that was underwater.. like seaweeds...   under the force of a current...

Thank you! I've had an animation in mind that makes use of Carrara's wind effects, but I wasn't sure how to do this with hair. It helps a lot to have the scenefile available to analyze.

may find it in the free stuff section now; let's make carrara a top notch software, share your best improvements and let carraraers grow up; many other programs of that kind (i.e. Vue, C4D, Blender as well) did a quantum leap that way. let's do it.

That looks really good Rexus. The movement of the grass is subtle, but lifelike IMO. I also like the way you use more realistic vegetation colors. The "stock" Carrara plant shaders are over-saturated and too bright, almost like toy train tree props.

hi 50parsecs, thank you - kind as usual; my short videos are mostly designed for mobile devices with a maximum resolution of 720x, for higher ones are little detailed and not lifelike. carrara works the best this way.
