Firstly, make sure you are on the small or medium screen size. NOT the big one.
Then you just have to double click on the Vic icon in the browser and wait for it to load onto the screen--it takes a little while.

Thank you for your reply. The problem was my fault.Just for the record everyone  make sure they activate V4.1 on your desktop otherwise she will lock up your system.Cheers

so far, the main thing that locks up c6pro is when I try to edit the dynamic hair shader tree. v4.1 will open o.k., although it is slow. AFAIK I haven't done either of these: 1. activate V4.1 on your desktop 2. make sure you are on the small or medium screen size. NOT the big one. but I don't know what either of them indicate. perhaps the latter refers to the largest monitor resolution in pixel dimensions. I have mine at an intermediate setting. I don't see any way to turn off OpenGL, in case that's causing problems for some users.

When you installed the content it was supposed to ask if you wanted to put V4.1 on the Desktop and activate, or problems would occur.

There are three scene sizes, 30 in, 30 ft, and 3000 ft., which cause things to load very different from scene to scene. Although this is a nice feature, they need to create an auto-resize.

Do not see an uncheck for the OpenGL, just the list.

I can't recall if it asked that (OS X). there was some other thing having to do with running a terminal script on installation, but I didn't do that either.

Victoria 4.1 seems to be quite a problem child.  I hope that Michael 4 isn't plagued with the same sort of issues when he's release.
