Subject: Any news of Carrara v6?

Anyone in the know, drinking buddy with a programmer, etc., know whether there is any work being done on the next release of Carrara or when it might surface?

In answer to my own question, Daz just replied to the same query with the response:

"We hope to have Carrara 6 available perhaps late this year, or sometime next year."

So there we have it, or will, sometime this year, or next...but at least it is coming sometime!

Where did you see this info from Daz about Carrara 6 release date , I would be interested in seeing the post.  Could you post a link.

I am also interested where the info came from. I went to the DAZ site but didn't see anything. Maybe I overlooked it. MartinW, could you post a link?

Hi

Just to clarify - I emailed Daz and asked them when Carrara v6 would be out - and they emailed me back the information about later this year or next.

Maybe as things get closer to being finalised they'll start releasing details of what's in v6...
