Subject: Where in the texture is there a place to resize?

I can't seem to find the place in the texture editor where you can increase/decrease the size. Using a JPG & want to scale it down. TIA :)

Hi,
Several thing come to mind.

  1. Make sure your shader is in Flat mapping and then look for the Transform tab.
2.You can also tile your textures seamlessly and then tile the texture.

I find the terrain scale under transform....But I'm looking just to scale down the texture..... I hate/don't want to compare but in Vue in the material editor I can scale the TEXTURE ONLY up or down. This is what I need to do.....as my jpg. it is too big relative to the terrain. Hope I'm making sense :) If I've missed thing, could you please post a screen grab :) Thanks again :)

I need the JPG shrunk down to scale with the terrain...you can tell it's much to large. I'm hoping there is somewhere inside Carrara to do this w/out me having to re-scale in a paint program :)

And what did you do? I'm not intimately familiar with the new terrain editor, so I'd be interested. Thanks! Dex

Where it says seamless I INCREASED the number from 1 to 5-7. This would depend as to the size of your map.
