If you live in the UK - one magazine is giving away 3d house creation Floorplan 3d v7. It might be possible to order a single copy. I can't recall the mags name right now (will look in a store later) but theres a free demo at www.imsisoft.com It exports in DXF. I managed to convert this to .OBJ but the whole thing was combined together. I'm not a modeller but I guess you could break it down. al

there's oodles of free and spendy software out there that will do this. There's one I know of called '3d Architect', that you can get at places like Wally World, or Best Bye, etc..
There's probably shareware stuff that can do this as well. Check Nonags, shareware.com, sourceforge, etc., and something should turn up..

click on "buildings" then "residential" I dont know if they will be as detailed as you want, but they will give you layouts. I am a CAD tech by profession, I have some training in architecutare. im trying to model a house, anyone know where i can find like detailed housing blueprints? need some ideas to make -.- preferably 1-2 full bathroom 0-1 half bathroom 2-3 bedroom, master bedroom is 2nd floor 2 stories 1-2 car garage nice big deck (preferably 2nd floor but 1st ok) (looking for detailed blueprints to make the model, not the model itself)
