Modeled in Wings3D, what else? Rendered in Bryce. I just like working with programs that I find easy to understand and use. BTW, hydrogen isn't really a true fuel but more of a way of storing energy. (It takes more energy to produce hydrogen than one gets out.) If the electric car uses metal-hydride batteries, one technically could say that it already uses hydrogen for power.

Of course the interiors of cars are a right PIA! Modelling all those bits like: biscuit crumbs, sweet papers, cigarette ash, crumpled maps, tissue boxes (they're a bit easier, apart from the single tissue half pulled out), that sandal that somebody left there (must give it back to whoever it was..), all those parking-lot tickets, the 2-year old newspaper (must finish that crossword someday...) LOL (and sorry for the flippancy - I'm in that mood again sigh)! Cheers, Diolma

A test render of an all electric commuter. Design inspired by Draculaz. Still needs some work before smoothing, so it looks a tad rough in this render. Outsides pretty much done, but onto the interior. Basically this car is intended as the answer to the EV-1 which was pulled off the market due to somebody's stupid decision. It would be comparable in range and performance to that model, but people would actually be allowed full ownership of this model. These would be the perfect commuter vehicles, as maintenance and operating expenses would be quite small. (Supposedly the real reason the EV-1 was pulled off the streets.) Range isn't a real issue for commuter cars, as they would be recharged while waiting in the parking lot or the garage. Also there would be an optional roof solar panel.Barbequed Pixels?
