We congratulate Woouk, our Rising Star! for May, especially in light of the fact that membership with Renderosity only began a year and a half ago, yet design success is already being achieved. We have allowed Woouk the opportunity to write the introduction to the Q&A, so here we go!
Hello everyone, I'm WOOUK, a freelance 3D artist from China.
From a young age, I've loved drawing, photography, and fashion. I enjoy turning my ideas into reality; it gives me a tremendous sense of accomplishment, which is why I chose design as my major.
After graduation, I worked at a product design company, gaining valuable experience. However, the demanding workload made me realize I was sacrificing precious personal time, so I eventually left.
Afterward, I founded my own studio, providing brand and product design services to businesses. During this process, I learned that 3D design plays an increasingly important role in the design field, so I dedicated myself to learning 3D design.
Along the way, I've met many excellent colleagues; their guidance and recognition have strengthened my belief that I've chosen the right path, which gives me an unparalleled sense of accomplishment!

I am proficient in software such as Cinema4D, Blender, Marvelous Designer, ZBrush, DAZ Studio, and Substance Painter.
How did you transition your interest in digital art to production of commercial works?
My expertise is in visual communication and brand design. My work experience over the past decade has kept me closely connected to art and commerce. When I first conceived and created these works, I began to consider whether they would resonate with others and whether they had commercial value.
What are your favorite projects to create and what has been the most successful for you?
I enjoy creating clothing that embodies traditional Chinese culture. This stems not only from my love for my hometown's culture but also from my desire to introduce my work to people around the world.
I believe my most successful project will always be the next one!
Are there other artists that influence your work or have mentored you?
I learned about DAZ through the creator MOONK. I greatly admire his work, and after we got to know each other, he provided me with a lot of guidance on character and costume creation, saving me a lot of trouble. He was also the one who guided me to become a supplier.
Ravenstone, on the same platform, recognized my abilities when I first became a supplier and offered many valuable suggestions and opinions.
am sincerely grateful to them.
What motivated you to become a vendor?
The recognition from my peers encouraged me to become a supplier. I also wanted to see how my work would be received, and now it seems I have clearly gained everyone's recognition and appreciation.
How did you make the decision to become a vendor at Renderosity?
After being recommended by a colleague and learning more about Renderosity, I also agree with their philosophy. There are many excellent colleagues here, which encourages us to inspire each other and progress together.
How has Renderosity made a difference or helped in your growth as a vendor?
On Renderosity, my work can be seen by more friends all over the world, and I can win the love of people all over the world, which makes me feel very accomplished.
What are some products you want to create in the future, and what goals do you have in mind as a vendor?
This year I plan to release about ten to twenty outfits. These outfits will form several different series with previously released products, and I hope you will like them.
Many customers have also asked when the character models I use will be available, which is also part of my plan. Please look forward to it!
