Interview with 3D-Age
Renderosity: You have such a talent for creating clothing; how do you do it? What got you interested in clothing in particular?
3D-Age: First,my English is not good,please forgive much!
Yes!I'm very interesting to make clothing,especially everyday dress,I have ten years experience in this field,I probably know how long it will take and how about things that require special attention when I starting,and knowing what is important morphs,in a word,I have good ideas on what should do when starting,I like that feeling :)
Tell us a bit about 3D-Age; who are you and what is your background?
My wife, my little boy and I live in the island in the southmost in China,and two tortoises,my name is Chang Long Luo and 36 years old, and my little boy 4 years old,my new products take time to more and more,one reason is higher and higher demands on product quality with myself,another reason is I spends a lot of time with my little boy,he loves to play with me,and me too,we are best friends!
One of my favorite pieces of yours is the "Everyday Dress". It's so simple, yet it's clear there was a lot of work that went into creating this clothing. Can you tell us what the process/idea was in creating Everyday Dress?
Yes, "Everyday Dress" is so simple,but that doesn't mean it is easy to make,for a simple clothing,def morphs are very important,only have good enough morphs can make the clothing looks real in poses.
You've been a member of Renderosity for nearly 10 years now. How has being a vendor and a member of Renderosity affected your life and work?
Oh! it's been ten years, how time flies!all over the years,my job is to make clothes,I mean full-time,I'm fortunate to have this option which allows me to have a job where I can make money and still spend quality time with family,I enjoy my job so much!
Are there any Renderosity artists (or artists in general) who have inspired you in your work?
Online shop,online images,that is very helpful to me,I get my idea from images,now I have many good ideas,and I got some good ideas from people,so many ideas to do and not enough time to do them,I want to say sorry to the people who give me good suggestions but I have not made that yet.
And, lastly, what advice would you give an artists who wants to become a Vendor
As is said above,I've been a vendor of Renderosity for nearly 10 years now,I never regret selling my products on Renderosity,so if you want to make money by your digital products,Renderosity would be a good choice.
