I once saw a documentary on those birds, Kelenken was the name. Thank goodness they're extinct. Splendid render.

Very effective image. Some of the Sixus creatures are overdone but not these.

Terrifying! Esp. if they've just cornered you in a rocky valley! Nice use of cliffs, terrain, and sky to create drama :-)

Nice. A little more plant life would help give a more natural look. I've done a a few of these kinds of scenes and you can spend more time on the rocks and trees than the creature! Be sure to look through the Sharecg archives for some plants and whatnots. A clump of grass, tented brown and stretched out make good weeds.
