C'est vrai qu'il a une bouille de Berger, et la pipe au bec lui donne vraiment un air majestueux. Un superbe portrait Michel. Je suis verte de jalousie.... moi aussi je voudrais un 105 mm, lol... mais je ne sais pas quand je vais avoir plus de 800 de cpour me faire plaisir ! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ! Perfect portrait of a real human being. We used to get French men turning up in Scotland selling onions in the summer. They rode bicycles and wore black and white striped shirts. They were called "Onion Johnnies" which I suppose would be banned by some EU rules now.

National Geographic is written all over this one. I have not had the chance to go through all of your images yet, but boy am I glad I stopped by. You have a great eye for things, places and peopel to photograph. This is among the better candid portraits pictures I have seen to date and I am not kidding. The facial expression, the pipe and un-shaven face as well as the half lighting compliment one another so well. Excellent shot. Adding it to favorite.
