~Tip of the Week~
Program: Vue
- If you already have a basic knowledge of Vue and are after
some ideas and knowledge about creating a good looking scene, the
quickest way to do this, in my opinion, is to disect the scenes
that come with Vue. Look at the layers panel. Examine how the pro's
have built their scenes. You can learn alot very quickly by doing
this.
- Although it may seem obvious, it's also worth mentioning that if
you are having trouble with a particular feature or setting of Vue
ALWAYS read the manual. The Vue manual is written in a pretty
straight-forward fashion and covers almost everything. It will
probably be able to explain to you exactly what the setting your
having trouble with actually does.
- Experiment with settings in Vue one at a time. If you want to
know what it does, play around with the setting. Turn it up full
and test render. Turn it down to zero and test render. If the
setting has a subtle effect, save the 2 test renders and compare
them on your screen right next to each other.
- And of course, always look through tutorials. There are
heaps out there and if you're new to Vue or 3D in general, these
are an excellent place to start.
