We are very sad to announce the passing of Renderosity member Dennis Webb (aka Dead_Reckoning) after along battle with cancer.
Dennis was a Renderosity member since 2001. He also worked as a marketplace tester since 2016 and was well-liked by Renderosity vendors.
We send our condolences to Dennis's family and friends. He was a valued member of the Renderosity community and will be sorely missed.
I've known him since the RDNA Beta tester days. I can't remember how long ago that was. He was 1 of the first peeps to teach me how to use Poser 8. He was very helpful & knew a lot about 3D programs. Also if you ever had questions about the sea-he'd have answers. I remember listening to him talk about maritime life. I'm going to miss that. May your ship in heaven forever sail my friend.
Dennis was a special, special soul. He was warm, funny, modest, yet extremely talented. I had the privilege of working with him for many years at RDNA, and then for 2 years here at Renderosity. He was a wealth of knowledge about many things, he had a story and a kind word for everyone, no matter how hard he was having to fight his own battles. He loved his life on the sea and he loved his family beyond all else. He was a bright light and that light is dearly missed. My deepest condolences to his beloved family
I've known Dennis from the RDNA beta testing team since I've started there back in the days. He was always very kind and helpfull with whatever it is that you had questions about. Later on when he got sick he remained positive and hopefull about his appointments and treatments that he needed to go to every single time. Dennis also kept working on his condition and mobility even when it got harder. His strength and persistance kept him going and is something that I greatly admire about him. Dennis will be missed by so many people and my condolances to his family and friends.
My condolences to friends and family. Dennis was an amazing person with not only a wealth of knowledge but a wealth of kindness and wisdom. His patience as a tester was really appreciated. Losing him is our community's loss. If there is a testing team of angels in the afterlife they will be lucky to have him. Respectfully lululee
I also knew Dennis from testing at RDNA. I've known him about 7+ years. We used to chat almost every day in Skype. I loved hearing about his trips around the world, his life on the sea, and all the amazing food he ate in foreign countries. He kept me updated when his new grandson was born and sent me pictures. He was a generous soul, so kind and thoughtful. He was always happy to share whatever knowledge he had with anyone who needed help. I miss him so much and hope he's riding his Harley on the coastal road with a view of the ocean and the sun shining on him.
Dennis and I tested on the same alpha team at RDNA. He was a fellow Eagle Scout and we seem to have a number of things in common. He was a great help to me and others in becoming better testers and artists. We kept in contact up until about a week before he died. I am missing him greatly and will alway remember him. I kept Dennis in my prayers during his illness and will keep his family in my prayers now. My tribute image to Dead Reckoning
My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace!
