Over the summer, Renderosity asked its community to put their animation skills to the test in "Animation Contest: The Gamer's Most Epic Cutscene." Rick Wade was one of the winners. Watch Wade's cutscene and then learn about how and why he created it.

  • Reallusion releases Character Creator 3. This application has broken free of iClone’s grip and is an even more powerful tool with loads of new features including remeshing, levels of detail (LOD) for the game engine minded, GoZ for ZBrush users plus the Iray render engine, polycount reduction and more.

  • REVIEW: Exploring V-Ray Next by sergio. Chaos Group recently released V-Ray Next, a new generation of their V-Ray rendering engine, that aims to take steps to make things faster and easier for users, and let them work faster and save time during production.
