Description

Nevara cycled her exovision through the entire range of the electromagnetic spectrum, from radio through infrared, ultraviolet, x-rays and gamma rays. All of the images agreed with the telemetry and voice communications they had received, and none of it made any sense. Only one of the three vessels had landed, and there was no afterburn evidence that it had ever taken off again. And there were two sets of footprints leading away from the landing site, from Dax and Deanna, which both ended abruptly. However, there was no sign of the crashed ship that Dax insisted should be at this location, or of any activity from the energy scavengers. Dax may have been wrong about the location, or indeed the existence, of the fallen ship, but he had been here, and he and his entire rescue party had simply disappeared... ******** I've been away in Australia for nearly three weeks, without any access to rendering software. Cold turkey is tough! This is my first image since I returned, and continues the story begun in "White Desert", "White Desert II - White Heat" and "White Desert III - Hidden". I have changed the name of the story from "Fallen" to "White Desert", to avoid confusion with Fallen, the game (which is not related to this narrative in any way). Posed in PoserPro 2014, rendered in Vue Infinite 2014.6, post-work in Photoshop CC 2014. Craig

Love the high-key work. A great render, and a fascinating mystery! Glad you're back in your own personal Toyland. :)

Excellent. Love that the distance appears due more to a thick atmosphere than depth of field. That's tough to pull off in other renderers but Vue just nails it.
